Luminescent silver nanoclusters anchored by oligonucleotides detect human telomerase ribonucleic acid template.

چکیده
Luminescent silver nanoclusters were anchored by designed oligonucleotides. After hybridizing with human telomerase RNA template, the luminescence of the cluster decreased linearly with respect to the concentration of the complementary strand (25-250 nM). The cluster is therefore a potential candidate for human telomerase detection.

Label-free fluorescent detection of copper(II) using DNA-templated highly luminescent silver nanoclusters.
Novel luminescent silver nanoclusters (AgNCs) were synthesized utilizing DNA as templates by a simple, rapid and one-pot procedure. Luminescence studies indicated that these DNA-AgNCs exhibited strong emission with peak maximum at 624 nm. The fluorescence of the DNA-AgNCs was found to be quenched by Cu(2+) enabling its detection with high sensitivity and selectivity.

Native cellulose nanofibers are functionalized using luminescent metal nanoclusters to form a novel type of functional nanocellulose/nanocluster composite. Previously, various types of cellulose fibers have been functionalized with large, non-luminescent metal nanoparticles. Here, mechanically strong native cellulose nanofibers, also called nanofibrillatedcellulose (NFC), microfibrillatedcellul...
متن کاملBlue, green and red emissive silver nanoclusters formed in organic solvents.
Strongly luminescent silver nanoclusters with tunable emission are directly synthesized in organic polar and apolar solvents. We show that an amphiphilic polystyrene-block-poly(methacrylic acid) block copolymer can be universally used as their support medium. A remarkable similarity in spectroscopic properties is observed between these clusters and charge-transfer organic dyes.

Novel hairpin DNA probes are designed and constructed based on target-induced in situ generation of luminescent silver nanoclusters. This design allows specific and versatile detection of diverse targets with easy operation and low cost.
متن کاملEnhanced fluorescence of silver nanoclusters stabilized with branched oligonucleotides.
DNA stabilized silver nanoclusters (AgNCs) are promising optical materials, whose fluorescence properties can be tuned by the selection of the DNA sequence employed. In this work we have used modified oligonucleotides in the preparation of AgNCs. The fluorescent intensity obtained was 60 times higher than that achieved with standard oligonucleotides.
